Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef 3 for the prestigious American University Washington College of Law located in Washington, D.C. The Executive Chef will manage all aspects of the culinary campus dining program to include the dining hall, retail, and high-profile catering with 5+ course meals. The ideal candidate will create innovative cycle menus with diverse cuisines, cost out menus, develop food proposals, regularly present fresh ideas, and meet with clients to discuss innovative culinary strategies.

The successful candidate will: be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting; ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented; have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations; ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and/or have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.
